Armrest For Tata Nexon

I recently bought the new Car TATA Nexon XM Petrol, this variant comes with all the necessary features like ABS, EBD, ESP and accessaries like music system, But very basic this is missing is the Armrest, I looked for may option in the market but couldn't find the one which goes with the interior theme and provide me the comfort in long drive. So I decided to create it by myself.

Requirement of the product

1. Should look appealing and give the OEM look and feel

2. there the storage space in the center console and the armrest should not block that storage space.

3. Armrest should be wide enough so that driver can rest his arm while holding the steering.

4. Should not interrupt the handbrake operation.

And I designed the product which you can see below.

I have added some curves which make it cohesive to the design of other parts. Also added the magnet so that it snug fits and doesn't move in travel Here are some pictures of the original product.

Users can access the storage space with ease.

Can be fixed using Screws and 3M tapa

3. Magnetic locking which will help if skid over pots and holes

4. Wide enough so that it can be used by driver and co-driver.
